oceanafox.com is published by or on behalf of Ocean Amelia Fox, known as Ocean Fox. In these terms, “Ocean Fox”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean her and anyone acting on her behalf. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The Ocean Fox name

“Ocean Fox”, “Ocean A Fox”, “Ocean A. Fox” and the domain names oceanfox.me and oceanafox.com identify Ocean Amelia Fox, a living individual, and the work published under her name. Nothing on this site gives anyone permission to use them.

Please do not use these names, or names confusingly similar to them, for a business, brand, product, band or stage name, social media account, domain name or AI character, or in any way that suggests a connection to or endorsement by Ocean Fox. Using a living person’s name this way may violate her rights of publicity and privacy and may amount to unfair competition or false endorsement. U.S. federal law also does not allow a trademark that identifies a particular living individual to be registered without that person’s written consent (15 U.S.C. § 1052(c)). We reserve all rights and remedies.

This site uses three.js (MIT License) for its 3D scene and the Syne and Work Sans typefaces (SIL Open Font License). Those components remain under their own licenses, copies of which are in the site’s assets folder.

Interactive features

The surf, reef, whale and release previews, the night swim and the sonar are generated live on your device. They are artistic impressions, not recordings or scientific data, and the depth and timing figures are illustrative. Please start at a low volume, especially with headphones.

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability
